It identifies music therapists who have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to practice at the highest level of the profession.”

  • Licensed Creative Arts Therapists are Masters-Level licensed mental health practitioners who are “trained in psychotherapy and in specific arts disciplines, which may include dance/movement therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, poetry therapy and art therapy. • Bruscia (1991) defined music therapy as an interpersonal process in which the therapist uses music and all of its facets to help patients to improve, restore or maintain health' (Maratos, Gold, Wang & Crawford, 2008).

Music Therapy is the clinical & evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. • If we could see sound, it would appear as moving waves or patterns in space, constantly shifting with intensity and frequency and varying in size, shape, and possibly even light or color. Sound healing uses instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chimes that amplify the frequencies of our inner bodies to a level that we can comprehend them, and creates a soothing and powerful soundscape to assist in further achieving inner balance, deep relaxation, and release. In a sound healing session, you’ll experience intentional and curated layering of sound, designed to regulate your nervous system, open space for healing, and connect you with a sense of inner peace. Through entertainment, sound can assist in guiding the brain states from active states (beta) to more relaxed states (alpha and theta). This is a gentle, non-verbal practice that invites rest and restoration, perfect for anyone looking to slow down, recharge, and reset.

  • Music therapy is a clinical, evidence-based practice delivered by board-certified music therapists who have completed accredited education, supervised clinical training, and certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists. Recognized as a healthcare profession, music therapy is often integrated into medical, educational, and mental health settings. In contrast, sound healing is a non-clinical approach with ancient roots that uses instruments such as singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and gongs to create powerful frequencies and vibrations to further support relaxation and overall wellness. Unlike music therapy, sound healing is not regulated by a governing body and does not entail nationally or state-recognized certification standards.  Therefore, practitioner training and credibility can vary.

  • Similarly to many private specialty clinicians, I currently do not accept insurance. Several individuals report benefits of working with out-of-network providers due to the privacy and flexibility it offers.

I recommend reaching out to your insurance providers about your out-of-network benefits to discover more about reimbursement rates and requirements. I am happy to assist with any documentation you will need in this process.

  • Initial 60 minute intake session - $225

    60 minute individual session - $200

    45 minute individual session - $150

Longer sessions are available and may be recommended depending on your needs. Together, we will determine which session length is best for you.

  • Music therapy is a clinical, evidence-based practice where I use music intentionally to support your emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. As a board-certified music therapist, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals — whether that’s managing anxiety, improving mood, enhancing communication, or fostering personal growth. Sessions may include active music-making, songwriting, improvisation, or receptive listening, all designed to engage you in a meaningful therapeutic process. Music therapy offers a safe, supportive space for self-expression, healing, and connection.

  • Sessions may vary depending on your individual desires/needs, however, in a sound session, you will receive 50 minutes of guided breath and sound meditation. I will utilize a variety of instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, drums, and ancient traditional instruments to create healing frequencies that will move through your body. You will be invited to lie down on a tastefully curated and comfortable mat with cozy pillows, blankets, and weighted eye masks. You can expect a calm, supportive environment where your comfort and well-being are prioritized, and deep relaxation is promoted.

  • When stepping into a Pause sound bath, expect to be immersed in full luxury, care, and deep rest and relaxation. I utilize the highest quality, industry leading instruments, including Crystal Tones Alchemy® singing bowls to tailor each session to your individual goals, and create a personalized experience from start to finish that resonates with your essence.

Crystal Tones Alchemy® singing bowls are crafted in the USA and made from crushed quartz crystal, infused with gems, minerals, and precious metals. Recognized in the industry for setting the standard of high-quality sound, each singing bowl is designed with individuality including the sound, tonality, healing properties, colors, and even textures. Each singing bowl in my set has been intentionally designed and curated to create a space for deep healing, alignment, and harmony.

Thank you for honoring the time and effort invested in every session.

For this reason, doors will be locked at the start of the session, and late arrivals cannot be admitted. We kindly ask all participants to arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in, prepare, and ensure a harmonious group experience. We thank you for your understanding and respect, which allows us to maintain a peaceful and restorative environment for everyone.

  • Frequency depends on your goals and availability. Some clients find weekly sessions helpful, while others prefer monthly or occasional visits. We can discuss what works best for you during your consultation call.

  • Yes, sound healing is generally safe for most people. If you have specific medical conditions or concerns, please let us know so we can tailor the session appropriately or advise you accordingly. We highly encourage all participants to consult with a healthcare provider.
